Arka Fincap Limited (Formerly known as Kirloskar Capital) is licensed by the RBI as a Systemically Important Lending NBFC (Non-Banking Finance Company). Arka Fincap is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL).

Established in 2018, as a professionally managed company, we focus on providing Structured-Term Financing Solutions to Corporates & Loans to Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) borrowers in India.

Key Focus

Strong focus on MSME/SME lending

We strive to build a strong SME financing platform based on sectoral understanding supplemented by a fully integrated technology and analytics platform. An untapped opportunity; we aim to finance businesses across various activities like manufacturing, trading, servicing etc.

Focus on Traditional & Alternate Data

We consider technology and data analytics as key enablers to drive business growth and simplify the lending process, focusing on serving our borrowers' unique needs. Our strategy is to rely on Traditional Data (Bureau, Banking and Financials) and Alternate Data (such as GST, Transaction data, Social Media etc.) to underwrite our customers.

Incorporating Technology

Digital credit assessment with zero physical human touch for smaller loans and for higher ticket loans, we are developing technology to embrace video-based customer interaction. We are currently incorporating and adopting the new technology for the customer onboarding journey, and it includes Video KYC, Video Personal Discussion, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Social Media Footprint etc.

Hub & Spoke model

We are working on the Hub & Spoke model, with physical branches in only 8-10 major commercial centers as Hubs, and the rest of the nearby MSME clusters would be Spokes. For smaller loans up to INR 5 lakhs, our entire customer onboarding and credit assessment process is digital with zero physical human touches. We are developing technology to embrace video-based customer interaction and large amounts of public data for higher ticket loans, which can help an underwriter do the credit assessment sitting in major hubs without the need to physically visit every customer. 

Digital Onboarding

We have developed a concrete digital customer onboarding journey for a faster TAT (Turn Around Time) and have thus fast-tracked the disbursement process.
