CONSTRU India 2010 offered an opportunity to meet top manufacturers, architects, construction engineers, contractors, consultants and decision makers in the infrastructure industry from all over India and overseas. With a successful 11-year track record, the 2010 edition featured over 150 exhibitors showcasing latest technologies, equipments & services. ISMT participated as an exhibitor in Constru India 2010, held in Mumbai. The exhibition was a four day event from 27th to 30th October 2010. ISMT displayed its products in a smartly designed 36 square meter stall positioned at a prominent location in the MMRDA grounds. The participating team consisted of Ramchandra Rao (Marketing) - Project Manager, Riku Thomas (Marketing) ,Prathamesh Joglekar (Marketing). Mr. Ritwik Borthakur from Branding & Communications also took part in the exhibition.

During the exhibition, ISMT displayed its UHS(Ultra High Strength) Tubes, product specific to Construction sector. Unlike welded hollow sections, which are made by bending a steel strip and welding it longitudinally, a seamless hollow section is made from solid steel billet by piercing and elongating it. The absence of a weld, and the associated discontinuity in metal properties, ensures complete structural integrity of these hollow sections. Furthermore, since these sections are hot rolled and not cold formed as in the case of welded tubes, the material properties are completely uniform along the cross section. All our tubes conform to European Standards (EN 10210) for hot finished structural hollow sections.

Over the course of the event the participants interacted with many prospective customers, business associates and representatives from institutions of interest and the event turned out to be an overwhelming success for ISMT.
